Hello Algeria - Not A Travel Guide

This zine has been a long time coming. Again, this is not a travel guide, just some information about Algeria and Algiers in particular. Prior to going, I was so intrigued by the idea of Algeria. Muslim culture. French culture. North Africa! Pirates! Camus! Mediterranean lifestyle. The Battle of Algiers Ahh… I had so many expectations. But, as you know, real life doesn’t always live up to your expectations and Algeria was more challenging than I expected. No regrets, happy to have the experience but also, happy to be somewhere else now.
